Use advice for data set Due to the challenges in collecting specific emissions data within the cement production industry, caution should be exercised when using this data for environmental impact studies. The data is based on on-site surveys and production process information, with indirect calculation methods employed for some emissions. Users should be aware that the data set does not include life cycle assessment (LCA), and further modeling using LCA methodology may be necessary for comprehensive environmental impact analysis. The technological applicability, such as the kiln technology and milling process, should be taken into account when using this data.
Technical purpose of product or process The ordinary Portland cement 42.5R, produced via the modern dry process on a 5000 t/d production line, is designated for general construction purposes including residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. It is suitable for concrete, mortars, and grouts where moderate strength and durability are required. Additionally, the company provides specialized cement types for use in applications such as oil well cementing and dam construction.

Emissions / Emissions to air / Emissions to air, unspecified 0.259 kg0.259 kg
General comment NOX. The emissions of NOx in the production of building materials come from two main sources. The first is the combination of N and O2 in the air at high temperatures, which is directly related to the temperature. The second is the low-temperature combination of N and O2 in the fuel, which is related to the concentration of O2.

General comment COD (chemical oxygen demand) (mg/l). Chemical oxygen demand (COD) refers to the amount of oxidant consumed when treating wastewater with a strong oxidant. It is used to measure the degree of organic pollution in wastewater. The larger the COD value, the more severe the wastewater pollution.
Elementary flow
Emissions / Emissions to water / Emissions to water, unspecified 1.326E-5 kg1.326E-5 kg
General comment SS (suspended solids) (mg/l). The suspended solids in the wastewater discharged from the building materials industry mainly refer to inorganic substances, organic substances, sediment, clay, microorganisms, and other substances that are insoluble in water.
