Use advice for data set When applying this LCA data, users should note that the dataset is specific to dry process precalciner cement production lines with an output of 2,000 tons of clinker per day, achieving a yearly production of 700,000 tons of cement. Ensure that the use of this data aligns with the scope of the construction project in question and adheres to its technological and capacity specifications. Consider that the production process described excludes mining, transportation, and packaging of cement. Therefore, if a full life cycle assessment is required for your project, additional data for these excluded stages will need to be sourced and included. Lastly, emissions data within the dataset pertains to a specific volume of production, so for different production volumes, emissions data should be scaled appropriately.
Technical purpose of product or process This dataset describes the production of Portland fly-ash cement with a strength of 44.6MPa, using a dry process precalciner kiln technology. The cement produced is suitable for construction purposes and is intended to be used in large-scale civil engineering projects and buildings requiring high-strength cement. These include high-rise structures, bridges, roadways, and other infrastructure.

Technological representativeness
Technology description including background system The cement production of Dry Process Plant B adopts new dry process pre-decomposition technology. The main production facility is an external kiln decomposition production line with a daily output of 2,000 tons of clinker. The design capacity is an annual cement output of 700,000 tons. The process flow is roughly the same as that of Dry Process Plant A. The factory's production process layout is reasonable, the host equipment is mainly domestically produced, and key components are imported from abroad. The automation control level of the entire production line has reached the international advanced level in the early 1990s. The factory cement qualification rate and first-class product rate, rich labeling rate, bag weight qualification rate, uniformity qualification rate, etc. have always maintained 100%. In the first half of 1998, the No. 425 and No. 525 cement produced by Dry Process Plant B passed the product certification of the National Product Certification Center. In the second half of the year, the measurement confirmation system passed the ISO10012 on-site audit.
