Technical purpose of product or process The manure treatment process described is intended for use in large-scale layer chicken farming settings. It comprises three methods: dry cleaning manure, water flushing manure, and a bedding material treatment. Dry cleaning is an intermediate option concerning environmental harm and economic cost, water flushing is strictly regulated and declining due to environmental policies, while the bedding method is environmentally friendly but economically restrictive and typically applied in poultry houses.

General comment on data set Livestock and poultry manure treatment methods include dry cleaning manure, water flushing manure, bedding material treatment. The treatment method of water flushing manure is strictly restricted by the "Water Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan" (referred to as "Water Ten") [88] and the new "Environmental Protection Law", which shows a downward trend year by year; The bedding method has less pollutant discharge and less harm to the environment, and can be directly applied to the field after simple composting, but it is highly restricted by economic cost, and is commonly used in poultry house manure treatment. The environmental harm of dry cleaning is between the two, and the economic cost is lower [89,90].

Technology description including background system In this paper, the life cycle of livestock and poultry farming is divided into six stages: feed crop planting, feed processing, livestock and poultry raising, manure treatment, slaughter and transportation. The specific life cycle process of livestock and poultry breeding is shown in Figure 2-1. Due to the lack of some data and the limitations of basic conditions, the production, transportation and use of pesticides, mulch and feed additives have not been analyzed, and the environmental impact caused by other related infrastructure construction, transport production and labor costs is no longer considered.
