Phosphate ore is primarily used to produce phosphate fertilizers, an important source of phosphorus for crops. It is also used to manufacture feed additives, industrial products, and lithium iron phosphate batteries for electric vehicles. Phosphates are a component of DNA, RNA, ATP, and phospholipids. |
