| General comment | Vanadium titano-magnetite (VTM) is an important mineral for developing titanium resources. It is recognized as one of the most refractory mineral resources due to its multiple-element composite symbiosis feature. It is predominantly smelted using the Blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) process in China. The comprehensive recovery of ilmenite separation from VTM is extremely poor, resulting in low-efficiency utilization of titanium resources. |
