|
High alumina refractory bricks are aluminosilicate refractory bricks with an Al2O3 content of more than 48%. They are made from bauxite, a naturally occurring material containing aluminum hydroxide (Al[OH]3) and kaolinitic clays. These raw materials are roasted to produce a mixture of synthetic alumina and mullite. High alumina bricks have high refractoriness, good slag resistance, and high load softening temperature.
