General comment | Inert matter is a term describing any 'physical substance' that has no inherent power of action, motion, or resistance. It is included in seed packages to help broadcast the seed uniformly. However, it doesn't actually grow. It is a part of the observable universe and, together with energy, forms the basis of all objective phenomena. At the most fundamental level, matter is composed of elementary particles known as quarks and leptons. |
