General comment | Larimichthys crocea, more commonly known as the large yellow croaker, is a commercially important fish species native to the South and East China Seas. It is a marine fish that lives in the northwestern Pacific, generally in temperate nearshore seas and estuaries. The mature Yellow Croaker fish can reach a maximum body length of 40-42 cm. The Yellow Croaker fish are benthopelagic feeders and are mainly used for food. They generally inhabit coastal waters and estuaries. |
