The boundary of the system starts from the production of fertilizer and electricity, and ends from the output of agricultural products and pollutants in the crop planting process. Data selection and combination principles The data in this text comes from the statistical sampling survey of Zhangye city, and additional data obtained from a special survey conducted during the 2012 input-output table. In Ganzhou district, Jiantan town, Dangzhai village, and Xiaoman village were selected; in Linze county, Shahe town and Pingchuan town were selected; in Gaotai county, Xuanhua town, Xiangdao village, and Luotuo city township were chosen. After excluding incomplete data, a total of 72 household's effective data was obtained

Data treatment and extrapolations principles Using a combination of stratified random sampling and typical sample selection methods, data were collected through questionnaire surveys and structured interviews with typical samples. The survey content revolves around all input production elements and economic costs, as well as resource consumption, etc. The output mainly focuses on product yield and the current economic value, as well as the quantity of waste generated and its disposal methods.

Sampling procedure It is determined that the survey sample size in the three counties and districts of Zhangye city needs to add 80 household surveys. The composition of the samples maintains the principle of being consistent with the local agricultural added value ratio. The corresponding survey household numbers are determined according to the agricultural added value ratio of 7:5:8, that is, 28, 20, and 32 households are respectively drawn from the three counties and districts.
