Use advice for data set The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data for this process uses the functional unit of 1 tonne of cement and considers system boundaries that include the production of cement, production and transportation of raw materials, and the production of electricity, but excludes the use and disposal of cement. Environmental impacts associated with the production of industrial wastes are attributed to the producer of the waste. For accurate LCA studies, it is recommended to integrate the given data with comprehensive emission data from all relevant stages, including the omitted production processes for auxiliary materials like slag, as well as consider transportation distances in relation to specific geographical contexts. |
