Use advice for data set
When utilizing this data set for LCA, it is important to consider the specific properties and context of the dry sludge as used within the Tai Lake Watershed area's brick manufacturing process. Users should account for any variations in GHG emissions based on the local practices and technologies employed. Attention should be given to system boundaries, ensuring that the use phase and end-of-life phase of the bricks, including potential recycling, are consistently modeled according to LCA standards.
Data set use approval
General comment
The main data sources used in our study are as follows: 1) Energy consumption and material inputs are obtained from investigations in Tai Lake Watershed; 2) The energy use emission factor is obtained from our own calculation, IPCC, and the literature.3) The fugitive emissions during landfilling, incineration, and composting are mainly determined by the model given in the other study as well as by the IPCC factors (2006), except for the CH4 emission in landfilling, which is obtained from study.4) Data from theoretical calculations (see Incineration section).

Technical purpose
This LCA data set describes the use of dry sludge from municipal sludge treatment and disposal as an additive material in brick manufacturing. Specifically, the dry sludge is sourced from procedures conducted within the Tai Lake Watershed area. It is utilized to produce bricks, possibly serving as a partial substitute for traditional raw materials such as clay, helping to improve sustainability in brick production.
