General comment Neodymium (III) fluoride is an inorganic chemical compound of neodymium and fluorine. It is a purplish pink colored solid with a high melting point. Neodymium is the fourth member of the lanthanide series. It has a melting point of 1,024 °C (1,875 °F) and a boiling point of 3,074 °C (5,565 °F). Neodymium Fluoride is a water insoluble neodymium source for use in oxygen-sensitive applications, such as metal production. |
